Privacy Policy

Google Analytics 4 (G-V452WHCG20), Microsoft Clarity (project z53piz00g3) and Adsterra ads load by default. Reject in the banner turns all three off and remembers that choice for 180 days. YouTube loads only when you press a video button.

Default-on, and how to turn it off

This site follows a default-on model: with no stored choice, the first page view loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads immediately and shows the banner to tell you so. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate.

Press Reject and the site writes pikabuu_consent with choice denied for 180 days, sends denied updates to Google's Consent Mode and Clarity consentv2, disables GA4, then reloads this page. That reload ends the running vendor scripts and frames; the denied record prevents Google Analytics, Clarity and Adsterra from loading again. Requests already made cannot be recalled. Press Accept to grant again, or reopen the banner with Cookie settings in the footer. If Global Privacy Control is on, or Do Not Track is 1, the site treats the visit as denied.

Google's Consent Mode v2 default runs before any config: ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied; analytics_storage is granted and ads_data_redaction is enabled. These signals do not delay the default-on script requests. Accept changes all four signals to granted; Reject changes all four to denied. A visit with no stored choice keeps showing the banner until you choose. No vendor script is requested on a return visit with an unexpired denied choice.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-V452WHCG20 (Google LLC, USA) to count page views and see which guides are read. The tag is loaded from www.googletagmanager.com and reports to www.google-analytics.com (or regional *.google-analytics.com hosts). Google documents default 2-year lifetimes for _ga (client identifier) and _ga_* (session state). These are vendor defaults, not an independently measured retention setting for every visit; the exact suffix is chosen by Google. See Google’s cookie documentation.

We have not verified this property's event-retention setting and do not claim a particular retention period. Reject withdraws the analytics_storage grant and prevents this site's GA4 loader on subsequent page views. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google's policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity project z53piz00g3 (Microsoft Corporation, USA) for heat maps and session recordings. The loader requests clarity.ms/tag/z53piz00g3, which loads scripts.clarity.ms and sends data to *.clarity.ms. Microsoft’s cookie list identifies _clck (site user/preferences), _clsk (session grouping), and possible third-party CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM identifiers. Their presence depends on browser restrictions and consent signals. This review did not verify their individual expiration times, so none is asserted here.

Microsoft controls Clarity's retention and masking behavior; we have not verified a project-specific retention or masking setting. Reject sends denied storage signals through Clarity's consentv2 API and reloads the page without the Clarity loader. Microsoft's policy is at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Adsterra advertising

We monetize with Adsterra (publisher ID 3403020, website ID 6159111): the NativeBanner_1 unit (31979012) inside the page and the SocialBar_1 unit (31979013) as the floating bar. Adult ads are switched off. The tags come from bicea.org and may set advertising cookies or similar identifiers on that domain to cap frequency, measure a creative and detect invalid traffic; Adsterra chooses those names and they can change per creative. We do not receive your name or email from Adsterra.

The 29 October 2026 local-browser audit also observed default-on advertising requests to static.nresystems.com, cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.show-sb.com and cdn.cloudpiko.com. These hosts deliver Adsterra's creative and supporting resources; their separate operators were not independently identified. The hosts can vary with the creative. Reject disables both Adsterra placements and these downstream requests after the reload.

Adsterra and its demand partners may use the data for personalized advertising. You can limit personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, youronlinechoices.com, optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Pressing Reject removes the Adsterra scripts and the floating bar on this site. Adsterra's policy is at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.

YouTube

Some pages show a local-image video facade. When you press its play button, the page creates an iframe to www.youtube-nocookie.com for that one video. That is YouTube (Google LLC), used to play the trailer you asked for; neither its player nor a remote YouTube poster loads before that click. It is not part of the default-on analytics or ad load. Once the iframe exists, YouTube may set its own cookies or local storage under youtube-nocookie.com. Reject does not cancel a video you explicitly choose to play. Its policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Storage on your device

First-party localStorage keys: pikabuu_consent holds {"choice":"granted" or "denied","ts":} for 180 days so the banner remembers your choice; pikabuu_socialbar_closed holds the timestamp of the last time you pressed Hide ad, also for 180 days, so the floating Adsterra bar does not return on the next page view.

Vendor-managed cookies may include GA4’s _ga and _ga_* and Clarity’s _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM; Adsterra sets its own advertising identifiers on bicea.org. The first-party application code itself sets no cookie; vendor scripts may set first-party cookies. YouTube may set cookies under youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play.

You can delete these keys in your browser's site-data panel at any time. Deleting pikabuu_consent makes the next visit default-on again and shows the banner.

Changes

This text is dated 29 October 2026 and matches the loader in the site code. A material change updates this page, the modified time, and the updates note. The footer links here from every page. /privacy-policy/, /cookie-policy/, and /cookies/ redirect here.

What I checked

I read the built HTML and the loader before writing this page, so the vendors, IDs, cookie names and the Reject path line up with what the site actually does. If a unit or measurement ID changes, this page changes in the same commit.

Questions

Do you use cookies?

The site's own choice is localStorage key pikabuu_consent. Vendor cookie names may include GA4’s _ga and _ga_* and Clarity’s _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM, and Adsterra sets its advertising identifiers on bicea.org. YouTube may set cookies only when you press play.

Do you run ads?

Yes. Adsterra NativeBanner_1 (31979012) and SocialBar_1 (31979013) load by default with adult ads off. Press Reject to remove them for 180 days; the Hide ad button also remembers a closed floating bar.

How do I change my choice?

Press Reject or Accept in the banner, reopen it with Cookie settings in the footer, or delete pikabuu_consent in your browser.
